Duchess is a superior slice of costume drama which manages to craft interesting multi dimensionalcharacters and an involving storyline from the well worn confines of the genre。

Keira Knightley plays a very similar role to the one she played in Pride and Prejudice，a feisty,modern woman trapped ina male dominated society. However,whereas Lizzie Bennett>s heart andcharacter inspires affection，< the Duchess of Devonshire>s fosters only reproach and punishmentfrom her traditional and patriarchal husband。performance isa standout and demonstrates why she is so highly rated in the face of manydisappointing roles in other films. She brings both strength and weakness to the character. Able todeliver withering put downs at her husband andothers，whilst showing the pain of her loveless marriage etched into her face。

If Knightley is the lynchpin of the piece then it is Ralph Fiennes that elevates it above a crowdedgenre. Resisting thetemptation to play his character as evil < instead he simply plays him as a manof his times > hands the Duke feels no need to win any bouts of verbal >jousting with his wife ashe is secure in the knowledge that，as a husband . he is in complete control of the relationship. the Duke also clearly sees very littlewrong in his treatment of his wifeand acts, as he sees it，in a logic manner making the whole film feel more believable and, as a result, tragic。

In terms of the cast the only misstep is Dominic Cooper as Charles Grey,who lends the wide eyes of apolitical dreamer but doesn>t have convincing chemistry with Knightley and plays one of themore onedimensional characters in the piece. However Hayley Atwell impresses by playing her character sowell it ispossible to describe her as scheming and manipulative as well as sympathetic and loyalwithout it seeming a contradiction。

The film is deliberately paced so as to give characters and events time to breathe, The mood that Themarriage is a car crash in slow motion inextricably drawing all the characters further into themuddled mess of their relationships. 这个女孩是谁?是《爱丽丝梦游仙境》的主人公爱丽丝。

第一次读《爱丽丝梦游仙境》的时候，感觉非常新鲜。

爱丽丝的梦充满了不可思议的幻想，有可以变大变小的身体、可以组成王国的扑克牌、可以穿越的镜子世界、让人忘记名字的森林等。

这一切就像我们孩子的五彩梦境，深深地吸引着我们，让我们展开想象的翅膀，十分过瘾。

我常常这样幻想:我是一个可爱的精灵，整天在宇宙观察着美丽的地球。

那是多么美妙的感觉啊!我对《爱丽丝梦游仙境》中公爵夫人的厨房印象深刻。

书中有很多富有想象力的小故事，其中公爵夫人和爱丽丝谈论“意义”的时候和甲鱼介绍自己的时候给我留下了深刻的印象。

公爵夫人的一句话:\\“所有的事情，只要你能找到，都是有意义的。

我觉得她说得很有道理。

例如，现在必须学习，但学习的意义在于丰富自己的内心世界，提高修养，获得广泛的知识。

另外，运动可以锻炼身体，增强抵抗力，让身体变得更强壮。

还有，我们日常生活中不可缺少的重要的事情，吃饭。

人如果不吃饭，就会饿着肚子，没有学习的心情，也没有工作的力气。

也会生病。

通过饮食，可以为身体补充营养，让自己变大变壮。

最后是克服困难。
