衡水湖位于衡水市桃城区与冀州市交界处，是国家二级湿地保护区，河北省一级湿地保护区。那里空气清新，是我向往已久的地方。
20xx年8月7日，在我的请求下，妈妈终于答应我，下午去衡水湖玩儿。
午后两点左右，我们坐上18路公交车汽车驶过一段乡间小路，很快就到衡水湖。
我远远的望去，看到无边无际的水，码头边停泊着几条小船。
我们交两份门票，穿上救生衣，坐上飞机模样的船，妈妈解开绳，拿起竹竿一拨，船缓缓的动向湖中心移去。我把手伸出船外，触摸一下水面，手冰凉冰凉的，我又赶忙把手缩回来。我们离码头越来越远，岸边停泊的船变小，像一只蚂蚁，最后消失不见。

船儿在碧波荡漾中飘荡，有不少过往的游船，有的游客坐在船沿上，将脚丫伸到水里，尽情的划过水面，那份惬意难以言表。往远处看白茫茫一片望不到边，真是水天一色，不时有渔民划过一叶扁舟，渔翁戴个斗笠静静地垂钓，这时我想起了“孤舟蓑笠翁”只是独钓衡水湖，那份悠然自得，别有一番韵味，简直就是一幅画。举目远望是一簇簇绿苍苍密匝匝的芦苇荡与接天碧绿的荷，真是接天莲叶无穷碧，映日荷花别样红。各种野鸭水鸟欢快的嬉水欢唱，将手伸进水里鱼儿在手中滑过。听导游说整个湖面75平方公里船到对面大约两个小时，岸上就是富有特色的渔村了，游客大都到这里用餐。餐桌上当然少不了鱼、虾、野鸭、荷叶、莲子一类的。吃完饭就是返程了，已是烈日当空的中午畅游在湖面，丝毫没有感觉到热浪的袭击。

夏季，衡水湖的湖面上，荷叶、荷花挨挨挤挤。最引人注目的是这洁白如玉的荷花，华丽、素洁，荷叶托着这些如玛瑙般的露珠，又守护着亭亭玉立的荷花跟胖胖的花骨朵，就简直是一幅美丽风景画。
秋季的衡水湖，是一派成熟的景色。岸边柳叶呀，真让人留恋往返，人们划着轻快的小船，哼着悠闲的小曲去了苇塘。苇塘里，苇絮飘飘，密密麻麻的芦苇，随风摇曳。又是一番别样景致。
衡水湖的冬天。花儿都谢了，但湖面结冰了。雪天，银装素裹，河边的孩子们在欢快的玩耍，欢笑声，雪飞声，合在一起，变成了一首美妙的交响曲。
